Fourth of July Keto Desserts

July 4th… I immediately think of fireworks and lots of good food! It’s a day many of us spend with friends and family… cookouts and picnics, you get the idea. 

This year I’ve decided to NOT make separate desserts for me and the family. I’m simply NOT going to tell anyone my desserts are low in carbs and sugar.  Is that wrong?! It might be. However, my mom always said “try it once; if you don’t like it you don’t have to eat it again.”  That’s become my policy too. 

When trying to find dessert recipes I always seek round up posts to help with my creativity – or shall we call it inspiration… let me share what I’ve found while trying to come up with some ideas. 


Patriotic Dessert Pizza

Ingredients: coconut flour, swerve, baking powder, salt, unsalted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, vanilla liquid stevia, cream cheese, heavy cream, fresh blueberries and fresh raspberries.


Happy Fourth of July Cupcakes

Ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, stevia, eggs, almond milk, canned coconut milk, vanilla, coconut oil, cream cheese frosting and heavy cream.

Naturally Sweetened Balsamic Berries

Ingredients: almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, cream cheese, butter, swerve or erythritol sweetener, egg, vanilla extract, stevia extract, blueberries and strawberries.


Low Carb Fourth of July Cheesecake
